The Chronological Events after a major loss/ Peristiwa-Peristiwa berikutan Kekalahan Besar dalam Pilihanraya

2008 general election won by BN by simple majority	1969 General election won by the Aliance, also by simple majority.
BN lost Kedah, Perak, Penang, Selangor , the federal territories and the usual Kelantan.	The Aliance lost Kelantan.
The Majority: 63%	The Majority : 51%
Mukhriz asked Badawi to step down in his closed letter, which is now open. Hisham is going to sack Mukhriz???	Dr. M asked Tunku to step down in an open letter. Dr. M lost his seat in 1969 and expelled from party after the letter.
???what will happen???	Tunku Abdul Rahman stepped down the following year (1970)
We can see some demonstrations going on here and there, pretty minor.	Riot and demonstration after the election that lead to May 13th incident
???what will happen???	‘Darurat’ was declared after May 13 1969

As we all know Dr. M was later allowed to join BN and reign our country as the PM for 2 decades. Is history is in the process of repeating itself?

The funny thing is, a lot of people are saying Pak Lah is trying to bring his family into the politics



and made it worse in the process, but as we can see on the other side of the fence, there is not much difference there either. People are saying Dr. M acting like a proxy and guiding Mukhriz' actions. He has the capabilities of that, but what are Mukhriz's motives?





Nevertheless, the authorities should take precautions to avoid unnecessary incidents that are potentially dire enough to leave a mark in our society like the May 13th... I hope everyone keep their cool on this. As the outcome of such act has more negative effects than the good ones, if there are any to begin with.
