Petition to Request Pak Lah to Step down!!! Petisyen Meminta Pak Lah Berundur!!!
I just found this out!!! There is an Online Petition requesting Pak Lah to Step down, although right now, as of (815pm - KL ) the number of signatures is about 165 and increasing!
Here is the link to the site
Sokongan desakan Mukhriz Mahathir menggesa PM Abdullah berundur
This is possibly the first time in the world an online petition is made to topple down a ruling Prime Minister, at least in the South East Asian region. And, as I speak he number of petitioners are increasing, There are also comments given by some petitioners which I can't describe here.
Does anyone know when is the official closing period for an online petition and whether it is valid when brought to the judicial?
The Chronological Events after a major loss/ Peristiwa-Peristiwa berikutan Kekalahan Besar dalam Pilihanraya
As we all know Dr. M was later allowed to join BN and reign our country as the PM for 2 decades. Is history is in the process of repeating itself?
The funny thing is, a lot of people are saying Pak Lah is trying to bring his family into the politics

and made it worse in the process, but as we can see on the other side of the fence, there is not much difference there either. People are saying Dr. M acting like a proxy and guiding Mukhriz' actions. He has the capabilities of that, but what are Mukhriz's motives?

Nevertheless, the authorities should take precautions to avoid unnecessary incidents that are potentially dire enough to leave a mark in our society like the May 13th... I hope everyone keep their cool on this. As the outcome of such act has more negative effects than the good ones, if there are any to begin with.

Abdullah Badawi Stepping Down,.. but, with a condition?
I found very shocking news in the internet, please be reminded, that they could be true or otherwise, nevertheless, we should make it open for us to analyze. Here are some of the websites that have been seriously talking about the issue...:-
Malangnya, syarat Abdullah ditolak tanpa kompromi.
– Ruhanie Ahmad

Like Father Like Son. Bapak Borek Anak Rintik
I thought maybe I can bring forward the letter Dr. M himself wrote to Tunku during the days (after 13th May incident):- behold the letter, and observe the boldness both father and son exhibited, it is unthinkable for anyone in UMNO to stand up against the leader of the party... well here is the letter ...
Batu 6, Titi Gajah,
Alor Star,
17hb. Jun 1969
Y.T.M. Tunku,
Tunku. Sabenar-nya, orang2 Melayu sekarang, baik PAS baik Umno, betul2 benchi pada Tunku, terutama orang2 yang di-hina-kan oleh orang China dan yang kehilangan rumah-tangga, anak-pinak, saudara-mara kerana tolak ansur Tunku.Mereka kata Tunku chuma ingin di-kenal-kan sebagai "The Happy Prime Minister" walau-pun ra’ayat menderita.
Patek lebih takut kalau kerajaan mula "lose control over the armed forces".
Patek Yang Ikhlas,
(Dr. Mahather bin Muhammad)

English Translation:-
Harakahdaily Fri Mar 14, 08 4:36:20 pm MYT
Let me take this opportunity to thank you and the party's leadership for the faith in me and the chance to contest in Jerlun as a Barisan Nasional candidate. With the blessing and hard work of the party's leadership and machinery as well as the people of Jerlun, I have won the elections and am now a new Member of Parliament.
However, sadly enough, my victory is rendered meaningless in view of the defeat that Umno and the Kedah BN suffered in the hands of the opposition. Apart form Kedah, four other states as well as the Federal Territories also received similar humiliation in defeat.
In fact your own state of Penang was wrested by the DAP from the BN. Kelantan is again under Pas rules. In other states, the BN also suffered a similar humiliation when the level of BN support by the people has tremendously reduced. This, Datuk Seri, has never happened in the history of BN rule.
The sole intention of my letter to you is meant to save Umno and BN from being rejected further by the people and from being no longer relevant to our religion, race and nation.
Dato' Seri, the people are unhappy and the message from them is very clear, and that is they have rejected you as the nation's chief executive.
Contrary to your claim that you still have the support of Umno and other component parties, the reality is that even our own party members had reneged in their voting pattern by supporting the Opposition and inflicting the BN its defeat.
Dato' Seri, when the people held street demonstrations you openly dared them to resort to the ballot boxes to demonstrate.
They took your challenge by coming out, especially tho people in the Peninsular, and they demonstrated their feelings by voting us out at the BN at State and Parliament levels.
It is therefore clear that your leadership and your handling of the issues faced by the people and the nation are no longer accepted. Let's not deny the truth just for the sake of keeping your seat as Prime Minister.
For the love of this country and the people, I beg that you take responsibility for the defeat. We can save Umno, the BN and the nation only if you relinquish your positions as Prime Minister and the President of Umno.
Dato' Seri, I hope you will understand that I make this plea with the intention of salvaging a very dire situation. A move has been made to woo the BN representatives to join the Opposition. The enemy needs just 35 seats more to topple the government of your leadership.
If you do not resign in the near future, I fear that the situation will become untenable and that the Malay support for Umno and BN will be a thing of the past.
This plea I make without malice, and I am aware that your reaction and that of other Umno members could very well be hostile.
But come what may, I am prepared, for the sake of the Malays and Umno, to face the consequences of my action. With all humility, I leave my fate to Allah SWT.
Dato' Seri, I am sure that you will do the right thing for the sake of the people and the nation. May Allah SWT bless you for the sacrifice you make by stepping down.
Wasallam
Yours Sincerely
Mukhriz Mahathir

International Students' Dilemma in Malaysian Universities...
For confidentiality, the name of the person and the University has been changed.
A 24 year-old middle eastern international student entered Lecture Hall 1 in Universiti Teknologi MRA. He sat somewhere in the middle row of the hall and listened to the commotion his fellow students made while waiting for the lecturer (who was always late for 5 mins at least). All Ameer, the Iraqi International Student, can hear is gibberish noises which he can’t decipher. He has the urge to participate in a garish conversation which was going on between the two students who were sitting to his left and right side. He feels so left out that being in the middle of the two students, literally, he doesn’t even have the slightest idea what they were talking about. Could it be pertaining to his class lectures or exams? Ameer knows that he is just helpless, if he asks his friends in the class, they have trouble understanding his English ascent, just as he is having understanding theirs. It’s like making chicken and duck to converse to each other, no one understands anything. So he kept quite , after 10 mins, the lecturer came and made a funny remark as to why he was late in the national language, everyone laughed, but Ameer. He can’t help but to ask the personwho was sitting next to him what the lecturer said. “ No la.. Nothing important also, Err.. I cannot translate he say what..You ask him and see..” said the one on his left pointing to his friend on Ameer’s right side. And the student on Ameer’s right side immediately began to jokingly smack his hand off from pointing at him. Ameer instinctively smiled at this, he knows that it is of no use. He began concentrating on the lectures. Most of the lecture is in English, whenever there was a question, the professor answered it in The national language first before attempting it in English. Often enough Ameer found that his lecturer’s English translation is often pithy and short compared to the lengthy explanation that he gave before in the other language.
Ameer went back to his dormitory, a small room which is shared by 3 other international students. One from Libya, the other two from Jordan. He wanted to share rooms with the locals, but he was assigned by the University to stay in the International student’s Residential College. This to him, is a way of depriving him of any chance to converse the language which he really needs to learn in order to have a good college experience. He felt like home in his room, with his roommates. They talk in Arabic and listen to Arabic musics. One of his Jordanian friend brought along ‘sheesha’ accessories which they prized in their room. In the evening, when they have nothing to do, they smoked ‘sheesha’ with their fellow international friends. Not all of them who are living here are from Middle East, some are from China and Pakistan. Ameer found no problem talking to them, their English was acceptable and good enough to have a hearty conversation. His favourite pastime, watching television, is no longer an option, as most of the time it is showing programs in languages that he has’nt mastered yet. He tried once to sit and watch this program, but he ended up wasting 2 hours.
One day when he was having dinner alone, his ears caught something that was being talked by two local girls. They talked in heavy accent but from their gestures, he know that they are talking about him. He picked out one word from their conversation,’bodoh’. Which he knew meant stupid. After th dinner he approached the ladies and enganged them, “ I cannot understand completely what you two were saying, but I know that you were talking bad things about me. I am not stupid or ‘bodoh’ you know...,’ he said.. The girls were shocked,” how’d you know? Who told you? We were not talking about you” came the protest. Ameer just walked away, he knew this was not the way to earn good reputation in the campus, he just slimmed his chances of making any local friends. There were times when he tried to approach his football buddies, they couldn’t be his acquaintance for they find it very hard to articulate themselves to him in English, their Malay language was not perfect either. They used too many slangs and non standard usage of words which made things even worse for Ameer. What can Ameer do...?
